Q: Liquid Level Gauge of the Pad-mounted Transformer

A: The amount of dielectric in the pad-mounted transformer tank can be observed with a level gauge (Fig 6).
It is magnetically coupled to the indicator needle in the gauge.
The magnetic coupling maintains the liquid seal between the inside and the outside.
It can minimize potential leakage.

Q: What Types Of Transformer Liquids Does Transpower Electrical Use?

A: Transpower Electrical offered mineral oil fluid (ONAN) and biodegradable fluid (KNAN). On request we can provide brand name FR3 fluid or other brand name fluids for additional cost and lead time.. All fluids offered by Transpower Electrical are non-PCB containing fluids.
